well we don't really know. When i said it looked like we had another it was definitely something but it might have been a placenta, or a stillborn (God I hope not) but she has not put it with mom so I don't know. Then there is the tenth pup that we don't know if he exists. but there's definitely nine.
With large litters , it's not unusual to lose one . The litter of 12 I mentioned was actually 13 . I was still when born but I brought it back to life ... I think it was a dry birth and had brain damage . He only lived 24 hours as he wouldn't/couldn't nurse . Sadly , I predicted 11 live with Penny , but 1 stillborn . Hope I'm wrong !
