Hi, Quira is my first female dog and i´ve been wondering for a while if her genetalia is normal..
compared to other female dogs i´ve seen , hers looks more like a tiny penis..
I could be wrong and she might be perfectly normal but since i dont know i´m hoping someone has a good description for me ( or a website )

Thanx
Maria

Okay, I went through my pictures and found a couple of my female pup on her back and you can see her little tootie in the pictures.

I think those pictures were decent enough to see what female genetalia look like on a dog. I did, however, take a picture a few minutes ago up close (I know, what a gross pic to take...lol) for you to be able to really see what it should look like. Now keep in mind... this pic is of a 6 month old 13 pound puppy. Obviously, if the dog is a bigger breed... their little tootie can be a little bigger. I've had several female dogs over the years and they've all had the same looking tooties except when they are in heat that whole area swells up. This is all just what I've seen, someone else may be able to tell you something different. Okay... here's the humilating picture...lol

i guess it looks kinda the same .. she was kinda hairy though so it´s hard to be sure..
she´s going to the vets in a few weeks for her shots so i´ll have to remember to ask them.

If you're concerned that she might actually be a he then the area where the genitals are located makes a big difference on determining that. A male is more centered where his belly is where the female is always located in the back near the rectum.

Lol! Good thing our babies don't worry about us posting such pictures of them!!! My Eli was "just a little tiny boy"... and didn't have "much" down there. I think he hated when I made fun of it!!!
