Post up a picture of your Christmas tree!

Here's mine... we put it up last weekend and finally took a picture of it this morning:

I'm actually trying to convince the family to not bother this year. I find them to be messy, a pain to set up and take care of, and annoying to take down. Of course, the family is convinced I'm some sort of Grinch. Ours usually goes up on my brother's birthday - Dec. 11th.

I don't get my tree generally for a couple more weeks, but here is last year's

Here's our tree! We just put it up last night. We have to go fake--hubby has allergies.

The tree is finally decorated. Here it is. Sorry our house is such a mess, were in the middle of remodeling it.

All are very pretty. We won't be putting up a tree this year. Most of the household things are sitting in boxes in my mom's garage including all my X-mas stuff. we are in the process of buying a new property, permits, and building and also trying to get this place fixed up to sell, so most of our stuff is already packed. That's okay, Mom has two trees up at her house, so we won't miss out.

We decorated our tree last night, so I figured I'd post a picture! It's actually been up for a long time... just undecorated because the decorations were trapped behind a bunch of stuff in the basement.

Ressurecting this becasue my tree is in place now. We always have an adventure of Christmas Tree shopping. It has to be "the" tree. "The" tree is not always perfect, it just has to be "the" tree. This year, we had trouble finding a corner lot. "Back in my day" there was one practically on every corner. This year we went out on Thursday night and drove around to several spots, never actually finding "the" tree. We had actually given up and were heading home when we saw another lot and stopped. The first tree we pulled out was "the" tree. Nice douglass fir and stil pretty fresh. Gorgeous shape and perfect height.

Heres mine- just got done
can't get it to look pretty like some of yours with lights twinkling- it looks like daytime- the flash is so bright

and some doggie ornaments
