Well hello there again I guess you are writing or working because I have not heard from you. This is great and I am so happy for you.
As I have said before Chazzers this is a good book and you all should read it.
I really enjoyed it.
I am glad to see you back snook and hope you are here more often. I enjoy your posts too.

And how is the next one going ? I am waiting to read it too.
Here is a bit of my own critique.
The story had a bit of the " Rocking Chair " effect. That is not to say dull by any means. It is as if Charles Emery is sitting on the porch regaling you with tales of his beloved Bunky and his first marriage.
I felt as if I were leaning on the porch railing in a warm afternoon listening to tales of Bunky while bringing up my own visions of the people, places etc.
I was lost in it's warmth and humor only to realize that as the sun and warmth of that afternoon must end into night so does the story.
I am looking forward to another sunny afternoon with Charles.

Hi Fruitbat, yep the book your Mom has is the one. I've been working overtime at night, in fact I just got home a while ago (1245 am here). Not much chance to do much posting, but I check in occaisionally. Looks like i'm heading to AZ in a few weeks. Aussie Red, I'm working on the next book as time allows, probably be ready in the November timeframe. Your take is how I want the story to go, just a porch storytelling. Be assured that you'll get an advance copy to peruse, FB I'm sure your mom will lend her Bunkie copy to you. Your mom is supposed to forward some of her work for a look see.

I'm glad you guys liked the story, that makes it all worthwhile. I should be back to normal in a month or so and then I'll be back to pester you on a regular basis.
