^^^I've heard countless stories of pediatricians telling patients with infants to use formula rather than breastmilk. There are so many of them who tell mothers that formula is easier, more convenient, and dad can help bond with the baby as well by feeding formula. After my mom had my sister, she was formula feeding, and her pediatrician thought it was a great idea, and even told her that formula is a lot safer than breast milk.
Anyway, no formula can match up to breast milk...but even the commercials for fomula say "recommended most by pediatricians," etc.
Vets recommend horrible foods all the time... Science Diet and Eukanuba have been "tested" and are safe and the best choice for your dog =/ There are endless nutrition studies on Hill's products... my vet told me that Science Diet is way better than any holistic food.
I have little faith in vets when it comes to nutrition... my vet pushes Science Diet, and thinks that feeding raw is "just crazy." People just really need to research things and not take a vet's word as gold. Corn vs. Meat... what would you pick?
