Is there any way to set up an instant return text? When a text comes in I want a return text to instantly go to the sender saying how much I hate texting.

That is a tempting idea. I dont mind them as a quick note but it seems more and more people want to carry on a full conversation via text.

Check with your carrier to see if they have the ability to set up an "auto responder". Similar to your email with the "out of office" replies.

Depending on what kind of phone you have you can set up a 'quick reply'. Basically a stored message that you can quickly pull up and send that stores your reply. It is usually found in the text settings. If you tell us what kind of phone you have someone may be able to point you in the right direction or you could google 'quick reply' with your phone type after it. Hope that helps.

Along that line, my phone has a "Quick Text" option. I add phrases, smilies, etc that I use often. Then, instead of having to type all that in, I just go to Options/Insert Quick Text, and scroll down til I find what I want. If your phone can't be set up to do an automatic reply, you could do that.
