I LOVE Butterbean! I follow all of Rocky Ridge Refuge's posts on facebook. I know she mentioned that this personality is not typical of bull terriers. Many are dog aggressive.

hehe, those are the bull terriers I know:) THe little pup butterbean is the one I fostered and that my whole family just is in love with. I was just there twice in the last month lol

oh, and the crazy thing...its ONE person who runs all that;) She is my hero

They're dorks, they're very funny, big goofballs. Very independent dogs although they love people. They are a little tough to train but eager to please; however that goes together. I love them. They're head and they're personality are a lot alike. Funny! ;)

One of King's best buddies was a Bull Terrier, Oscar, who recently had to be put down when he developed a brain tumor at age 12. He was fine one day, then in the middle of the night had a huge seizure, and never really woke up, the vet was unable to get him to stop seizing. As soon as he would start to come out of the meds he was on and wake up, he would start seizing again. Finally they pulled the plug, and the vet found a very large brain tumor. He's about the last one of King's buddies roughly his age to go, the only ones left are 3 years younger or more. The 9 year old one isn't in good health, and I think my friend who owns him is jealous of King, even with Cushing's is in great shape and doesn't act anywhere close to 12 years and 8 months old.
