Brownie the Doxie is up for adoption AGAIN! He had been dropped at my friend's training center back in February, but a week later his owner came back to take him home, claiming she missed him. We had a home lined up and everything.

Well surprise surprise, she dropped him off again. This time we demanded that she sign paperwork.

So Brownie is up for adoption again! He is a fantastic dog, probably around 2 or 3, no health issues to note. He is house broken at my friend's place, though his mother claimed he wasn't. He is fantastic with all dogs. He and Teeny were best buds before, and I'm sure she'll be happy to see him again on Saturday!

A picture from the last time he was dumped

Again from the last time, playing with a baby Teeny.

And here's a link to a video of Teeny and Brownie playing.

Poor little Brownie :( I'll get some more current pictures this weekend since I'll be taking care of him until Sunday. If anyone is looking for a VERY sweet Doxie please let me know!

There are a lot of Doxie rescues. You should google Doxie Rescue & your state. Area rescues might also courtsey post him on their petfinder site and some (I know ours does) will even allow you to bring the dog to their adoption events as long as he is neutered & UTD on shots.

Good luck, he is a very handsome boy!

He is neutered and UTD. Please feel free to crosspost. I'm in MA, the dog is in ME.

We had ANOTHER surrender this past week, a 6 month old Pomeranian puppy, who already has someone interested! Frankly I think she's an annoying little monster and that Brownie is just awesome, but whatever, there's no accounting for taste.

I am in contact with a local Doxie rescue about a courtesy posting and am waiting to hear back. Thanks guys. I love Brownie. If I could take a third dog I would, just so Teeny could have a dog of her very own (they LOVE each other).

BUMP

He's not her best friend (that would be Rosa), but Sequoyah (in the photo) likes Brownie, too:)) He really is a nice little guy and deserves a home.
