I went to get Ollie's Canidae this afternoon ....( very small shop " Wash Your Paws " ....dog wash , food and supplies .) A van was parked outside and people were transporting small cages to another van . As I went passed I saw AT LEAST 30 cages ... some with only one pup , some with more . All seemed about 6 to 8 weeks old . All mixes and breeds . I went in and asked the gal " Puppy Mill "???? Thank God no ...!!! It was local Pyrenees Rescue helping move over loaded pups from a southern Indiana HS to a Michigan group . It was so sad !!! All these unwanted puppies because of whoops breedings .!!! They had met there as they wanted to bathe a beautiful Pyrenees who was covered with sores !!! Some local groups were taking some into their own rescue . Hopefully some will find their forever homes !!! One gal was watering all and cleaning their " boxes " ... Bless them and **** the people who cause this !!!!!!!!!!

Its good those puppies were headed to rescues though. We get "deliveries" like that at FOHA. These ladies drove up in this van once, and they had a lot of animals they were helping to transport to different groups. We got two of them. There was a cage full of beagle puppies that were very cute, a sweet hound, and many others. Bless the people who do transport!

Ugh, I know what you mean, Grammy :(

I went the shelter Lizzie came from -OMG- all the pups there after Christmas. Had to atleast be 100-200 puppies lined up on the wall in cages stacked 2 or 3 crates high.

Grammy that is how i felt when that puppymiller was set up on the curb with the pups in a wire pen in the sun. It has to stop. People can make it stop if they really want to! I couldn't believe that one woman bought the puppy ANYWAY after i told her everything i know about puppymills. I bet her grandaughter that was standing next to her will be real proud of that woman one day. WHy why why does it have to be this way? Good for the people that fight it! I am glad the dogs were being rescued, i wonder if they will have long term health problems. :(

I can't imagine mass breeding pyr's. WHat could possibly be the thinking behind that. I lived next door to two. I cannot begin to describe the damage those two dogs did or the all night every night barking that is prone to the breed. Too hot in the summer, never ever meant for our climate let alone yours. I can see them doing shitzpoos and chipees but good grief. I would love to raid puppy mills. I think that would be the high of a lifetime, just to be able to go in and stop that completely down cold. Rescues rock.

Poor puppies, a lot of people really get off from their shameful acts and seeing $.$ over them puppies.
Bless to the volunteers and transporters.
