I think the easiest way would be to find a way to get him to do it.... For example, I know my puppy pulls his lips back every time I give him a treat. So to teach him to do this, I would hold a treat in front of his nose, wait to see him pull his lips back, click that behavior, and then hand him the treat.

is it bad to teach your dog to do aggressive stuff on command? i have no idea. i'd love to teach one of my dogs to look like she'll attack, but i thought in the process i'd be rewarding her aggressive behaviour.

It's not that we're teaching the dog to be aggressive, we're teaching him to look aggressive. ;)

I tried peanut butter and she doesn't show her teeth with it. I even smeared some on her teeth and she didn't lift her lip.
Watch your dog, is there any situation in which she does lift her lips? Right after drinking? Eating? Checking out bugs?
