Tattoos & Piercings (Share & Inform)

peircings im currently rather simple...
i like to be asymetrical so i have 3 in each ear.
1 in each lobe (which sport belly button barbells)
then on the left i have 2 in the very upper cartlidge/flat of the ear, and on the right are 2 in the upper lobe/lower cartiledge, all 4 of them sport matching eyebrown bars. (ive found the curve works better for my ears, no more tender ears due to folding and no more jabbing in the side of my head from the backs of studs lol! though i do get lots of looks because im not using "earings" lol.
right now thats it for peircings...i do eventually want my nipples peirced (but i want them done with the smallest possible jewelry, i find typical nipple bars a little large for my tastes and want something realy simple/delicat/barely noticable, essentially, for personal use only...
I also want my belly button peiced...which im probably goign to do this winter, again, somthing very simple and pretty will go in that peicgin as i dont show my belly off (comes with being 300lbs almost) however in my bathing suit the belly button shows and id like a little sparkly lol.
i also have microdermals on my mind...id like them to be part of a tattoo though (there surface peircings with only 1 "point of entry" a base goes under the skin and a single peice is attatches above the surface.
tattoos however are where im realy hooked.
right now i have 4, but there are plans for many.
plans first:
there will be a fox pawprint on my wrist, this is probbaly going to be my next tat as a friend is getting an otter paw and has offerd to pay for mine if i go with her...
there will also be a chinese crested shilouhette somewhere, still not sure where yet, under it will be ruby and jaspers paw prints (and eventually Jade who will be my 3rd (and final for some time) crestie. (yes shes already named)
i have a little demon in planning (just need to get him drawn in such a way as i like, i have his head shape, and i know how i want him, but for some reason hes eluding my own pencil...he will sit on my shoulder/climbing down over the shoulder, his tail will trail up my neck a little and he will be "stealing" a pink star...
which then ties into my big one. origionally it was only going to be japanese maple leaves, but since getting my most reacent, i want it to be japanese maple leaves tumbling over a sky of...get this...pink stars. The stars will kind of be in the back ground, some partially covered by the leaves, the maple leaves will be a combination of normal and laceleaf in all the firey colors of fall, though some, particlualry the ones neer the op of the peice, will have hints of green, the leaves will essentially transition through the seasons if you will...
itll start on my Right breast, and go oer the shoulder "behind" one of my existing tattoos, these leaves will be a combination of reds and lighter greens (for spring) as they reach my shoulder blade and upper back they will start to move over the spine towards the left hip, these will change colors to the deeper greens and darker burgandies of summer, as it crosses my spine and heads to the hip (where it will go behind another existing peice), the colors will shift to fall tones adding more of the firey tones, the peice will continue onto my thigh where it will wrap around from back (over the tush) to the front of the thigh where i will add something to the end of the peice to represent winter, (or the leaves will be mostly washed out tones)
that peice howeer will not be joingin us untill ive lost some weight particularly over the back.
i also want "not all who wander are lost" on one ankle/foot, and "where we will, we roam" on the other
somewhere will also be either the tune for moonlight sonata, a cheshire cat or a passion flower (may pop flower) that myself and my sister will be getting to match.
now onto the currents.
my first i dont have pictures of, but its a simplified fox "skull" (black work) with crossbones and red eyes.
its only tiny at about 2"x2" and was my first tattoo, i drew it myself and got it on my right thigh as my 19th birthday gift to myself. it needs a little touch up now though as i want the skull filled in to be completly black and brighten theeyes (whihc are red) up.
my second is this peice...
now first let me preface this by saying, YES its a flying fox LOL.
see im pagan...*suprise* and i follow an amost native path, and from very early on i would dream of this creature. after much searching and talking to elders on my similar path it turns out that people have totems (animal guids) now most folks have many totems who come and go only as needed, an animal spirit that comes into your life to tach you something then leaves again...many people also have a "life long" totem, one who you connect with on a deeper level, who stays through your life... then there are other people who have multiple life long totems...and for a FEW people, with multiples, instead of showing themselves as individiula animals they merge to form 1 fantastical creature...
this is mine, and hes got pride of place in 2 places on my body.
this guy was a colaberation between myself and the artist, i drew like 3 versions and he tweeked the final thought a little. hes a deacent size at about 9" x 16" (including wing span) and he sits on the fleshy part of the lower back (where the back meets the butt) on my left side. i got him when i turned 20, he needs some touching up too at this point as he was so delicatly done the ink has faded a little and hes looking somewhat washed out so i need to find an artist that can show him some love with a very delicate hand (since the origional has moved to france!)
my next came when i was 21, yes, another "little fox" for this one i wanted a more fun loving look, something a little less "real" but still easily identified...
hes by far my largest peice thus far at about 20 inches from tip of wing to base of tail and about the same again from side to side. He was also a little pinfull as one of his wings hits a REALY ticklish spot lol. he was my first real "vibrant" peice in terms of color.
this peice was 100% drawn by me too!
and my most reacent
pretty self explanitory...another "drawn by foxy" peice...my most vibrant and fun peice! as you can see it stretches across the upper back/neck...and YES, this one HURT...the 2 largest stars are right on tha tpoint where the muscles connect, theres lots of tension and tendons and its generally a sensitive area and i will admit it definatly stung...but was so worth it.
i dragged a couple of frineds with me for this one, they got to sit and watch it get done, at one point my frined goes "umm hun, i dont mean to worry you...but you know your bleeding right?" at which point both me and the artisit couldnt stop giggling for like 10 minutes straight LOL! after i finally got words back i assured her i did know and it was normal...and while i kept a happy face though most of it there where moments where i had to close my eyes, put my head down and take some deep breaths to get me through some tweaky spots.
so yeah, thats it so far...
my next one im hoping will come before xmas...

And suspended twice, and pulled once. Not sure if ritual counts in here.. but it's bod mod.. Didn't really scar from it though, so you can't really tell these days.

I used to want my nipples done. Back when my boobs were small and perky. lol.
I heard that they are VERY painful to get done. I am breast feeding, so its not even possible for me to get done right now even if I wanted to. I think they look really cute though.
As far as genital piercings go. Thought about it in the past, but I guess the thought of me being exposed down there in a tattoo shop creeps me out. It would have to be done by a woman I trust. Yes, it's possible. You risk lessening your sensitivity. Sometimes it can come back when the jewelry is removed, sometimes not. I'd assume it's a painful piercing. You need to be a lady where it's a little more exposed to get it done. Good number of happy genital piercings are anatomy dependent. I like horizontal hood piercings, but I'm too narrow down there. It would be uncomfy.
I only have my ears pierced once each.
For my birthday in January, I want to getmy belly button done. I like eyebrow piercings but everyone says they look tacky after awhile so i don't know.

I had my nape pierced. I have hair down to my butt. It healed was happy maybe a year. I think my hair annoyed it though even though it was up a good amount of the time.
It also gets in the way if you are shorter.. Boyfriend constantly had arm creeping up over my neck.. Would remind my hair dresser and she'd hit it with the comb cause she'd forget..
If you want one you need a studio where they bend their own surface bars and have the ability to polish them so there are no scratches. Bending it in front of you = scratches. Or have a wide selection of pre bent jewelry. Every person is different, 90 degrees isn't always good. You want pics of healed surface piercings done by their piercer.

Mine are on my lower back. The one healed problem free off the bat, the other was cranky and sore and never stopped being angry. It rejected, healed was redone and seemed when the swelling went down to sit too far out and was getting caught.. and I've lost it again.

Its very very VERY unlikely that the "youngsters" here have NEVER heard people talk like this.. Seriously.. Think about it for a second.
