If I ever get any (which means if I ever get the guts to deal w/ the pain, lol) then I want:

1) 3/4 inch, red and white, corgis trotting around my ankle, like an ankle bracelet

2) a tiny, half inch, green fairy on my right shoulderblade

3) a small galloping horse, but I haven't decided where I want it yet

If I ever got one, it would definitaly be #1, I want that so bad!

1)I have three:
Two four leaf clovers, on my hips

and an angel on my back

2)I was 16 when I got the angel...I got it because I wanted somebody watching my back for me.
I was 19 when I got the clovers, because I'm irish and I want only luck in front of me.

3)I will be getting more, but only after I'm married, I don't want tats in the wedding photos.

4)Yes, they hurt, but not so much that I don't want more of them.

I'll throw in a pic of my tongue and nose ring for good measure! Cuz you can see my bellybutton ring in the first one anyways

I have a tat of a Rose in full bloom and one rose bud, with Kanji connecting the 2 together. The Kanji stand for Spirit, Adopt and Mother. I got in loving memory of my mother. On the back of my right shoulder.

I also have an arm band of a wolf totem on my left arm.

Yes the tats hurt when I got them...the first hurt the worst out of the 2 though.

I plan to get on the top of my right shoulder to cover a scar from surgery, it will be a wolf howling at the moon inside of an eagle's feather.

There isn't really a thrill, I just like the look of it. No I don't lisp with it at all, infact most people are shocked when they find out I have one.
It's not a double piercing, just a single it just goes all the way through your tongue that's all Grammy.

Okay im going to ask all you "tattoo peoples" opinions. This summer im getting a couple peircings done and I was thinking about getting a small tattoo alittle bigger then a dime or penny. I would like to get it at the back of neck kind of between my shoulder blades. But I just wanted opinions on where you think is the least painful spot to get a tattoo. And no I am not interested on tattoo peircings. Because no offence to women on here who have them but I think tattoos on womens arms look trashy.

So im open for opinions.
Ok well on the piercings, I wouldn't get more than one until it's fully healed. It takes alot out of your body to heal a piercing and having more than one fresh one is asking for trouble eg, infection, rejection etc.
If you want a tattoo that small it has to have little to no detail whatsoever. Because of two reasons, most artists won't do work that small because it's just too hard and the second reason being, they won't do work that small because they know in two or three years it will just spread together and look like a mess and they won't want there name on something that looks like garbage. I think the least painful spot to get one would be your butt, or your calf. The ones on my hips killed, and the one on my back wasn't too back, but still hurt.
Edit to say: after I'm married, I will start working on a full sleeve. I think it depends on who you are, whether or not it looks trashy. I think the wrong work does look trashy on a womans arm, but something beautiful is just that, beautiful.
Grammy, to your comment about people in power not sporting tattoos and piercings, in our generation I beleive they will have them. It's so mainstream to have some kind of body art that almost everyone I know my age has at least 1 body piercing. The times, they are a changin'!

My last name (2 symbols) on my ankle, is not very big at all. We'll say: 2.5cm H/W. It's clean and clear, but it couldn't have been any smaller. It also depends on where you get it too. Areas like the stomach, bum, calf etc are more fleshy, so the tattoo artist has to pull your skin taut. On places like the back of your neck or in my case my ankle, they don't.

Actually they should pull it tight everywhere. If they do not the needle starts bouncing.

It's much more noticeable in certain areas. You know what I mean :)

When I got my ankle done you couldn't tell when he was pulling the skin and when he wasnt because there are some places on a persons body where the skin is naturally tighter. Ex) The skin on someones but would have to be pulled more noticeably than an ankle tat.

Oh, the top and bottom make up one piercing. The ball on the bottom is just like a butterfly closure on an earing, but a ball that screws on instead.
I dunno i guess it started as a rebellion kinda thing, and now it's just a part of who I am. Actually I dated a guy who hated it, so I took it out, he cheated on me and generally treated me like crap, so my break-up present to myself was getting it repeirced, and I felt normal again haah
Hahah thanks, I will tat and pierce away, it's very addictive. Alarmingly so!
