Tan Lines

So, I'm standing up as maid of honor in my friend's wedding in about three weeks. I have pretty dark skin and in the summer I darken up a lot. Well, working at a barn this summer, I've got a pretty wicked farmer's tan.

I had originally planned on doing a spray tan to even things out. Well, I went and got one last night and while I look fine overall (like it darkened up my legs, ect and I'm not orange) I still have a very noticeable stripe.

Anyone have some tips as to evening this out a bit before the wedding? I really don't want to do a tanning booth because no thank you cancer. I'm thinking maybe some suuuuuper strong sunscreen on my forearms and just laying out for a while and hoping the rest of me will darken up.

I'm not a girly person and my lines have never concerned me in the past so I have very little experience.

That's pretty much exactly what I did. I'm getting married in a month and I get really dark in the summer too. After going to my nieces softball tournament and taking them to schlitterbahn I have the CRAZIEST mismatching tan lines. I just wore a tank top outside and slid the straps underneath my armpits so it was sort of like a tube top and put sunscreen everywhere but the places I wanted to darken up. It seems to be working so far. I know I won't look perfectly evenly tan, but I don't care. I just want to avoid looking quite as hysterical as I do now, lol.
