So, I just wanted to take a minute to brag on the dogs. Every year, our local kennel club has a booth at a Family Expo in our area. The club members bring well socialized good dogs to promote responsible ownership, good breeders and the breeds we own! I took LoLa and Sheriff both today and yesterday.

I need to take a minute to brag about Sheriff the German Shepherd puppy. Sheriff went to the Expo for most of the day today and did wonderful. He met thousands of people, behaved well enough to be there with LoLa and all the other dogs there. He also was very gentle with babies and toddlers. He made a very special friend while there, this little boy had down syndrome and really loved the dogs. The little boy kept coming back to the dogs and was captivated by Sheriff. Sheriff not only loved on the little boy but also let him hug him, pull on his tail and roll him over etc. He loved it. The little boy loved him, Sheriff made me cry today, he laid down with this little boy on the floor and cuddled with him. A 5 month old working bred GSD sat still long enough to do the breed justice but to also make a very special friend. I am truly blessed to be able to share my life with these dogs. Sheriff and Judge's breeder is truly a breeder that breeds to better the breed. I'm just amazed at these dogs.

Then there is LoLa....oh LoLa!

I have to take a moment to brag a little bit about LoLa Bleau, she went to the Tri-Cities Family Expo last night and did amazing. So, this morning after training, I took her back to the Expo, we were there most of the day and she met thousands of kids and people. She showed many not only how amazing she is, but also how amazing this breed can be. She was unflappable in temperament. Toddlers and babies climbed over her and fell on her, she was AMAZING. LoLa may not have come from a good breeder or really good lines, people may call her an American Bully or a badly bred APBT but at the end of the day, she is ALL American Pit Bull Terrier in temperament towards people and that's where it counts. She is truly everything I wanted and more!

I will tell the truth and I believed the hype about pits and how horrible they are...until I met my first one...I was head over heal in LOVE with that dog from day one! His name is Ocho, and he is everything that a true pitty should be, great with people, loved attention, eager to learn, wanting nothing more than to please his people.

I would own one in a heartbeat thanks to that dog, of course they have a coat I get hives from if I pet them too much.

But I just wanted it say thank you to you and others like you who strive to promote the bully breeds!

I had tears hearing how well they did with everyone. You should be so proud of both of them. They are cuties too!

You've done an amazing job with them both, you should be proud. Bring that little man down when you come to Salem. I want some puppy fever treatment.

Thanks everyone. I am extremely proud of them both.

Sheriff has 2 IPO decoys interested in him, one is a decoy for our club which would be awesome. This time, we are screening even harder than normal, the plus side is we know these guys very well.

As much as I'd love to keep him, it just isn't the right time and wouldn't be fair to the dogs. I have an AST planned for later this year and it has been a long time coming. He needs his own home where he can be the center of attention. He will hang out here until he goes to his new home though.

OMG Sheriff is gorgeous. Lola definitely wins for best ears!

You deserve the right to brag -- what great dogs you have.

Thanks! We do try to do their breeds justice. Too many people out there can't handle them or give up too easy or shouldn't own them!
