Tache Puppies!! (Week 2 - Great Pyrenees)

The little angels are growing soooooo fast!! Earlier this week 2 of them successfully were able to evade the whelping box and complete Mission: Escape from Alcatraz! Mwuahahaha, apparently Prison Guard Page aka Mama showed them how to do it.

We are loving the large white male pictured alone and the male with the large spot on his side thats in oval shape. We are thinking that marked male will look and have very similar markings to that of his Grandfather Zorro (Tache's sire).

Zorro: Who has that same side spot hehe.

We are very pleased with the litter and I will be bringing back another female for Tache when I go to see the pups in March. And another female in June will receive a visit from Mr. Tache as well, so he is going to be a very busy very HAPPY boy this year lol!!!

Bambina turns 1yr old March 29th, so next year around that time we shall plan to health test and breed her to Tache as well. This will be our first litter on the ground here at Abstrax.

I'm kind of partial to that white one with the barest hint of spots at the inside corners of the eyes I don't know why - I don't usually prefer all white dogs, but there's something about that one . . .

Grandpa has some fabulous dogs behind him. His Great Grandfather is on the Complete Book of Great Pyrenees! Ch. Villevieux Le Roi - he is a BIS winner.

We really like the white male too. We're trying to find show homes for him and the marked one - we both don't have a need for any males at this time and of course we get a litter full of them!!! LOL.

I want one too but no room at this time. WE are going to sell the house this year so we will be adding a new pup from the Bambina and Tache litter next year - maybe even 2!!!

I am super jealous. I love the BIG breeds.
Thats why I'm saving up for the BMD (bernese mtn dog) in the far future.

I love the big breeds but must confess I have another love... The Chihuahua! Which we may be adding one to our family very soon, a show one! Very nice Blue Merle boy. I get to watch him this weekend while his breeder goes to Westminster. I am sooooo excited!!

LOL... That spot must be marinated with Candy or something - seems to be one of the topics of conversation here LOLOLOL.

I will be headin down in march and will be sure to get pics of that "spot" puppy for ya lol. I'd like to try and get stacked ones of them all while I am there, we shall see how much they wiggle lol!
