Swelling after shots

I took Mikey to the vet this morning for his parvo and lyme boosters. He did so much wiggling the vet had to stick him 3 times to get the parvo shot done and then get a vet tech to hold him for the lyme shot. That was at 8:00 this morning. He now has a large welt where the parvo shot was given and is limping and favoring the other leg. Does this sound like a reaction to the shot or just from having to be stuck 3 times to get the shot?

I'm asking because the vet office is closed for the day and was wondering if this needs to be an emergency call the the vet on call?

All is well. After spending a few hours in my lap at the computer while I was getting work done all the swelling has gone down and he is trying to eat my feet!
