I'm very surprised lately at Hannah and Beezers bonding.

Since she was born he's always guarded and stayed close to her but if she came near him he would run away and didn't want her to touch him. he was kind of freaked out at this tiny being. He wanted to observe her but otherwise he wanted to keep his distance.

but the past few months their relationship has totally changed. Maybe it's because she started sharing her banana with him in the morning... who knows. she gets down to the last little bite of the banana and gives it to Beezer.

pretty much since this started they are buds lol. she'll walk up to him and give him a hug and he'll just sit there... before he would run away. Now they have games they play together. Maybe it's because she was never able to PLAY with him before like he wanted. I don't know what really brought on this sudden change but it's surprising to see how close they have gotten in only one or two months.

when I come home with her from somewhere Beezer is the first to great her now with a big nose smooch and then he dances about the room while she chases him (one of their new favorite games) he does the play bow and bounces around waiting to move until she is JUST close enough to tag him and then he will bounce out of the way and wait for her to do it again which sends hannah into FITS of laughter lol.

It's really strange to see them playing together lol

Every child deserves a dog to grow up with. I hope someday we can have a dog again, so Mason can grow up with a family dog. It breaks my heart that he doesn't already.

Very cute picture. :)

Thats nice to hear. I've always heard a lot of stories about children that young getting hurt by dogs, I guess it depends on how aggressive your dog is and which breed you have.

Actually... we probably say it TWICE as much now that she's a climber monkey LOL. Like when she tries to get up on the arm of the couch and jump off :O

but usually it's "be careful you don't bump the tree (christmas tree)" "Be careful you don't break that" LOL

Maybe that's what it is Grammy. he's a puppy for life and doesn't get how to bond unless it's through playing but Hannah wasn't able to PLAY for the first while. but now that she can he enjoys her a whole lot more :) especially right now while Belle is hurt and shouldn't be playing Beezer is especially looking to Hannah for his entertainment lol.

I ALWAYS remember having dogs as a child. I wanted Hannah to have the same. I see so many kids who have never had any kind of encounter with a dog in their life and they are terrified. Makes me sad.

How very sweet :) I'm sure they'll be romping around helping eachother get into trouble for years to come. ;)
HAHA I never thought I'd say this... but in this case Belle is the sensible one... so I can just see Hannah and Beezer getting into trouble together while Belle looks on disapprovingly :rofl1:

OOOOOOH lol... that is true. she can pretty much handle what they throw at her these days (which mostly consists of belles out of control butt swinging around lol)

Awwww cute!

Aubrey always "helps" with the dogs. She often tells me they are hers, or certain ones are... and can tell the schnauzers apart better than my mom LOL. I've already told her mom when she hits 3 I'm gonna teach her how to do agility with the dogs.

It might be because he didn't know what she was when she was little, and now he realizes she's a little person. Or as grammy said, he's not as worried about hurting her.

That picture is precious.
