Im thowwing this together cause of another thread, these ar esunsets on the Big Su river. I may have posted these before but hey the Big Su needs all the publicity she can get.

Thanks, this was from the same evening. Its my favorite site for camping running that river, when the weather is good it has a great view of Denali.

Oh, how I envy you!!! I'd love to get to Alaska/the Yukon one of these years. It's completely different from the scenerey here in Southern Ontario.

a wonderful site to see this morning ..thanks Blue! there are too many hills and trees to see a good sunset around here (at least where i live) I have promised Hyia to take her out one night to get a good look at the night sky..(she is very into stars) and where she could see a good sunset as well..we had a little pond on the farm where the sun would set and the water would reflect the red..it was framed just perfect from my living room window. I thought of it as fire in the hole cause that is what it looked like.

Gorgeous pics! I was blessed to go to Alaska about a year ago and see its beauty. Went all over... saw Mt. McKinley on the most clear day, Denali, Seward, Homer, Fairbanks. Crossed Prince William Sound in a Ferry. Saw the salmon spawning, turquois ice chunks in the Sound. Waterfalls. Eagles. The pipeline. It was all stunning...
