They're gorgeous! I don't think I've EVER seen an Afghan hound that wasn't at a dog show.

They can look a lot different! Most people we meet either assume they MUST be show dogs or they are a cross of some sort since they don't look like the ones at the shows.
I have no idea why they aren't more popular! They are such an entertaining and easy breed! Then again I might be a little biased

I can't say enough about the breed! They are hands down the most hilarious companions to have around. You'd never know it from seeing them out and about but they are constant clowns in the home. When they are not napping. Lots of napping too!
