Hi all, my lab had always been having problems with her skin until we stumbled upon Eagles' Pack Holistic Fish. For the last few months, she seems to be doing fine with her skin finally clearing up.

However, a few weeks ago, her skin starts acting up again. She has several red spots (like pimples size) all on her under belly and legs etc.

I need your advice:

1) Could the skin problem be due to a new pack of Eagle's Pack?
(I don't recall feeding anything extra or different since she always have sensitive skin)

Mordy- are you aware of any change to Eagles' formula? my pack has an expiry in Jul 2007.

2) Any suggestion on what i can do? She's coming to 2 yrs old and has already been on at least 6 rounds of antibiotics. (don't want to put her on antibiotics again)

3) Would you recommend changing her dog food? I know she's allergic to chicken and by products, perhaps even pork.

Thanks so much...... fr a desperate mom. :(

It's hard to tell - could be the food, if what you are feeding is a differnt formula already indeed. I'd recommend calling Eagle and asking.

What I would recommend is doing an elimination diet, so you can pinpoint just what exactly causes reactions, and what is safe. It might not even be food related.
