I'm ok with spiders in my bed. What I can't stand is giant cockroaches! UGH!

When we were living in Hawaii, there were huge roaches everywhere. And I mean EVERYWHERE. We had trees in our yard that dropped a seed pod with sticky-sweet sap, and at night the roaches would all come out to feed on the sap. It was so bad that, in places, it looked like the ground was moving.

I was awoken several times with 3-inch roaches in my bed. By far the worst time was when I felt something tickling my face. I slowly opened one eye to see the underside and legs of a huge roach! It was standing on my face, right over my eye! I screamed bloody murder and catapulted out of bed.

*shudder*

Ever since that night, I've absolutely HATED large roaches. Sorry, I'll take spiders over roaches any day.
