I'm currently using a double shaft set up for pulling, but would like to get more into driving so I'm looking for a dorsal hitch sulky (they don't put as much weight on the dog).

But other than a horse sulky manufacturer, I have no idea where to look.

Does anyone do carting/driving? Any recommendations?

I saw some posts from her while doing a search and was hoping she'd chime in, but I think she has a set up similar to mine now (double shafts). I really, really want a dorsal hitch and have NO idea where to even start. Making a double shaft cart is easy, but with a dorsal hitch if the angle isn't right it either puts too much pressure on the dog, or they're too light on their feet and don't get enough traction to pull.

I'm so lost. Anybody?

Check out Chalo Sulky. There's also a forum group (dogslovetorun on yahoo groups) that has people who do carting, racing and scootering. Someone there could probably answer your questions.
