Weird. I don't have any of those problems. Well I never get spyware. I know that's a mac thing :p and spam is very rare. But really, who would be foolish enough to spam a mod? lol. few people if they wanted to stick around. :p

I don't know about being normal for this forum but certainly not for other forums I've been on.
I have not had any problems with spyware or pm's on Chaz.

But I did keep getting a pop up not blocked by my computer on another forum. It was some spyware thing that said my computer was infected, I never downloaded anything. It was so persistant it downloaded somekind of virus named Vundo, well McAffe detected it but wouldn't/couldn't fix it or delete it. I had to find a fix on the web.
Now it is gone, but it was really annoying and time consuming. I am afraid to visit that site again. But they did send out an email to all members saying the problem was taken care of. I only posted there a couple times, so I didn't think it was worth visiting again.

I have never had a problem here at all. Now this is my One and Only again!;)

I have windows too.

A new pets website

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi there! I’ve just found this new pets website ( www.ourpetz.com ) and thought that you might enjoy it (seeing pictures, adding your own pictures)!

I also got 1 from TxK9 and Yuckaduck awhile back.

Might interest you

You might have interest in this and in voicing your opinion. No one on the forum there has a white boxer so no one can voice an opinion on it with the knowledge of the actual breed. Of course there is no interest in fighting and the forum there is closely monitored so all opinions are welcome but I know they are really strict for personal attacks on anyone.
You will be safe there to say whatever you like as long as you do not attack anyone.

This is something that we do not allow. If ANYONE receives this sort of spam, please, please let us know so that we can deal with it! An easy way to notify us is to forward the PM to one of us.
Hmm I got those PMs too, and forwarded it to a mod, and was told to just 'block' them. I replied asking if it was something that was allowed on here. I don't like being solicited in my PM box.

We do not allow blanketed PM solicitaion of members on this board. We usually remove them from the population when we receive and verify the complaints.

I was also told to block them. I was also looking for the forum rules to see if it was allowed and I never did get information on where that is.
