Taking Poopsie to work with me tomorrow. A lady is traveling about 30miles to come and visit him. I am so nervous. I pray that Poopsie makes as good a first impression on her as he did me. I am getting to work early in the morning so as to touch Poopsie up a bit. Maybe take a bit off the sides and shave the feet. I am sooooo excited. Please, wish us luck!

Well turns out... They didn't take him. Poor guy. I feel as though he feels so unwanted. But, they gave me a letter and some money to go towards Poopsie's vet bills I have incurred. The letter was just a thank you for fostering a special needs pup. Very sweet gesture. I have to write them a thank you note. I still kinda feel bad he didn't get a permanent home.

I also feel like I missed something lol

Its so hard to place a "special needs" animal unless it gets publicity, then people feel bad for it and have the NEED to rescue it

We have a few special needs animals at our humane society right now that have been there for a while and are now placed in foster homes.

I really hope Poopsie gets a home soon!

Poor pup!! I feel bad for him that he had to live so long with a family who obviously didn't love him the way he did them
