Songs that you Cannot Stand

The little tangent in the best metaphors by high school students made me think . . . what songs can you simply NOT STAND. As in, they are almost physically painful to listen to, yet, oddly, enough of the human race actually like these musical horrors that they continue to be played?

I can think of two off hand:

I HATE HATE HATE this song. I cannot express how much it annoys me.

Someone left your cake out in the rain . . . and it took you a long time to bake it . . . and you lost the recipe . . . . um . . . didn't you just bake it? I mean, how old IS that cake? If you just made it, don't you still have the recipe? If you didn't . . . why do you care about a moldy cake with petrified green icing? The park is melting? Love's hot fevered iron like a striped pair of pants? WTF? Dude, you are proof as to why some people should not take drugs.

I had a rental car after my accident and forgot my iPod for the first day or two when I was in it so I was forced to listen to the radio. I have sooo much hate for this song.

I was in the car with Ian when I first heard it and thought they were singing "I gotta move my jacket" so whenever it came on I would sing it like that.

Such a horrible, horrible song.

I think Moves Like Jagger is kind of a fun song, and I HATE Maroon 5. I probably only like the song because I think of my baby cousin singing it and also I'm pretty sure Zach knows all the words to it and I think it's cute.

I am pretty easy going...

But I really dislike anything by the tragically hip (which was very hard in high school) I don't like neil diamond. Most country music makes me cringe but I don't HATE it.

What can't understand anyone listening to is a lot of industrial.

Aggh I love Paul McCartney but I *hate* that song so much. It makes me rage.

I like a lot of bad music, but there are some songs I just can't listen to. "Every Day is a Winding Road" by Sheryl Crow makes me crazy. They played it on some recent commercial and I had to mute it every time.
