One of Finnegan's namesakes is the 1800's drinking song Finnegan's Wake. IF the CBCA didn't limit the registered names of BCs, his registered name might have been HL's Thanam An Dhul (HL's Soul to the Devil).
The song's about a drunkard Irishman who dies from a blow to the head, but arises at his own wake because whiskey is splashed on him. Nothing to do with my dog whatsoever, I just love the song and between the song and the dog from Mr. Dressup, Finn's name was decided.

I don't really have any songs for the animals that are still with me, but after Blackie and Casey passed I dedicated a song to them. I'll probably continue to do so for my other pets that pass on, because it is just a little way for me to remember them by.

Morgan gets Little Sister, which is one of her many nicknames and is the first song she liked.
Funny thing about all that is I'm not really that much of a Dwight Yoakam fan. It just kinda happened that way.
This one mostly reminds me of Ares. The One Who Knows
