I need songs that are centered around various themes for a project. Anyone have any ideas? The songs can be about one or more of the themes, which are:

-Loneliness
-Relationships/Intimacy
-Lying/Deception

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!

Thanks!

Are you lonesome tonight by the King (Elvis Presley for you young'ns) for your Loneliness theme

Well any song on the Beatles' album Love Songs would cover the second one really. But it depends on the context/theme you're wanting to use it in. Is it a human project? Dog project? Country project?

Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin' is a Journey song that would fit the bill. Lies by Foreigner would work for the third one. She's Always a Woman by Billy Joel would work for the second one. Lonely Is the Night would work for one. Lost in the Supermarket would cover the loneliness and lies category. The Cheeseburger Song would fit every one of those categories.

There's...a ton of songs. A plethora even, that would fit all those categories. Nothing to narrow it down? Can it be vulgar?

My wife really likes Pat Monohan's "Her Eyes". I'd say it's about relationships/intimacy.

Lovely Tonight by Eric Clapton and Your Song by John Lennon are always hits with the ladies.

Silly Little Love Songs by Paul McCaurtney is a different kind of love song (or song about love songs).

I guess that's why they call it the blues - Elton John
Somewhere in the Night - Scott Bakula (you'll only find that on a quantum leap soundtrack) but it's about relationships and loneliness (he's missing his lover)
Silhouettes by The Diamonds (cheating - even though he's mistaken)
Amanda and/or Maryann - both by Boston
Babe by Stixx
Cheating Side of Town - Eagles
The Girl from Yesterday - Eagles (loneliness and/or relationships)
