Well my dog passed away this last Sat and if ya wanna read about how then read here... http://www.chazhound.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1130

And also Here's some pics of my baby :) http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=your_stuff

Anyway well what can I say about him, I could type forever talking about that sweetheart. He was so lovable, loyal, smart very smart, handsome, and of course spoiled. He always slept in my bed, of course when he was a puppy and until about a year old I kept him outside, but soon he was a housedog till the day he died. When I first got him he was covered in ticks and fleas and looked very ill, my dad picked him out for me and got him from a guy he worked with. So got him treated for all that then he was fine. But later on at about 8 months old he got mites and they were skin mites, and it took along time to get rid of em, but I had him treated and rubbed medicine on him everyday. And the very very hard part was tryin to keep him from licking it off lol. But we beat the mites and his coat was so beautiful.

At about 5 he got his heart condition, and I gave him medicine everyday for that. Unfortunately he wasn't blessed with the best health my poor baby. But we couldn't beat that cause there was no cure, I wish he would have had perfect health, but I wouldn't have traded him for a billion dollars and I mean that 100% Ok on to the good stuff, lol he always liked to sleep on his back with his feet sticking up in the air. He also snored some too, which I always thought that was funny. He had the simple life, we prolly kept him in the house too much, but if we put him out he wanted back in lol. I bought him a toy about every week for awile till it got out of control he has a big basket full of toys. We did get in that very bad habit of giving him table scrapts, but hey nobodies perfect and he was a good beggar. He would usually pull the paw on my leg or my grandmothers leg routine, and he even got where he would rest his head on our leg as well. But what can I say I am weak and gave in and gave him bites here and there, he never tore up anything in the house ever, prolly cause he had more toys than any dog on earth lol.

My great grandmother who I live with and help take care of adored him too, he had a way of winning her over easy, and when I got him she said she wouldn't ever get attached to him. Well all I can say is YEAH RIGHT Max made sure he had her wrapped around his paw just like he did me. Oh yeah one very funny thing about us feeding him human food is he was very picky, most dogs will eat about anything, well not Max he would sniff before every single bite. He didn't like saltine crackers, but yet he liked the club crackers and he hated fruit, but yet when I fixed a roast he would eat the carrots. Max was the pickiest dog I ever seen in my life, but that's what I loved about him, actually I loved everything about him. I prolly didn't get him enough exercise after I found out about his heart condition, mainly cause I was afraid I might overwork him or something.

He loved everyone, but he wouldn't pay attention to any other dogs ever lol.
My cousin built my computer for me one night, and we were up about all night so he stayed all night. Well he went and Layed down in the chair and reclined back and he said he was about half asleep when Max was excited about something and his tail whacked him in the head lol. So he got half asleep again and Max yet again whacked him in the head with that very dangerous tail of his. Max's tail was a dangerous weapon, and I got a taste of it plenty of times lol. He was so well mannered, I could leave my food sitting at the table and walk in the backroom and he never ever touched it. Which always amazed me, and oh yeah of course he would drool. When I took him for a walk, he loved that he would grab his own leash and head to the door, he prolly woulda took himself for a walk. When I took him to the vet he would put his paws up on the counter lol, they always got a kick out of that. Well dinnertime I could talk all night about him, be back later to tell more stories of my prescious angel :)
