Here's some pictures of my dogs! Jaylie, the black lab no longer lives with me. She's eleven months old now, and she was dropped from the guide dog program because of some eye problems. My mom gave me the option between raising another puppy or keeping her. That was the hardest decision in my life! (I have five siblings and we live in a small house...We could not have two labs!) So, I decided I would like to raise again. I miss Jaylie so much! She's been gone about two months now. Here's some of her!

Here's her and I at Disneyland...She's about six months in this picture.

Here's the first day I had her! Here you can see that she had the eye problem from day 1.

Here's about a week after I got her. Isn't she adorable??!!?

Here's Jaylie, Goofy and I at Disneyland. I know, she's all sidetracked, but we were in a hurry and I had JUST stood there when we had to go.

Hi puppyraiser. Nice to meet you. Jaylie is a beautiful girl! I notice your pup has a yellow cape. What guide dog group do you volunteer for? I just wanted to say that that was an incredibily unselfish act on your part. Giving up the pup you raised and had the option to keep, enabling you to now go on to be a repeat puppyraiser for this group! You did a wonderful thing!!!

Once again, Jaylie at Disneyland. This is in Toontown, where there's a building with a sign that says "Dog Pound." So, I posed her there, and took a picture of her at the pound. (She could fit through those bars SO easily though!)

The end of the day at Disneyland...Jaylie's SO tired out! :lol-sign:

Here's Jaylie and I doing a talk on Guide Dog awareness at a fifth grade class. (Jaylie ALWAYS lays like that...Froggy style!)

Typical Jaylie at the pool. "You mean you want me to SWIM in that thing??"

Jaylie with her "Biscuits on the paws" trick.

The last day I had with her. :(

Jaylie and Windsor (Another guide dog in training) waiting not-so-patiently for their food.

One of GDA's puppy meetings. (During obedience time.)

AH! I have SO many others I want to share, but I guess that's all I'll do right now. (of Jaylie, that is...I'm gonna do some of Blitz now!)

First time I ever held Blitz.

I think he already knows I'm his momma!

There he is, in front of GDA's sign!

Here's his litter. There are three more, but they are being raised in Washington, so they weren't there.

Aw nuts, I just realized what a bad picture that is of the litter. If you looks close...there's four black labs, and one yellow. (Blitz.)

Blitz again, only JUST him.

First time Blitz ever put on his puppy bib.

Blitz fell asleep next to his sister, Ella...So cute, right??

This is the man who is sponsoring Blitz. He paid GDA four thousand dollars, and that pays for EVERYTHING...Vet bills, food, obedience classes, and extra stuff. (Bowls, leashes, collars, crate, etc...) He got to name Blitz, and I send them monthly updates on how Blitz is doing.

Very, very cool. Blitz is a very handsome pup. I live in Washington, so I'll be on the look out for GDA pups his age here. We have some wonderful puppy raisers for GDA in the local 4-H club.

That is so cool! Do you know the names of any of the pups up there? Because I know a few that live up there.

Also, you can tell that they are from Blitz's litter if their name starts with A. (Blitz is from the A litter.) Blitz and Ela are the only one's with non-A names, because they're sponsored.

Hi puppyraiser. Don't know any of the puppies names specifically. I've been asked to speak to the group before, have had fundraisers and public events I've been asked to participate in and the GDA puppy- raisers are also there, out in full force. A great group of kids! Now, I will ask for puppy names (A)when I meet one this summer!!
