I don't get it, either. I can get the same, excited response from Caleb by hiding his bumper and telling him "Find it!".

I am also a bit lost, we up until we moved to Ontario always had beagles, or some variety of mixed hound that we hunted, all lived in our home, slept in our bed and were fantastic pets, well behaved... With the exception of if someone rang their bell, they all knew what that bell meant and would race to the door in excitement because Dad only played with the bell when it was hunting time! I always felt bad if someone picked the bell up and rang it and they could not go....

I think the video is just a video of a beagle from hunting lines. I believe the poster just shared it as an example of what life is like with a hunting beagle. Lol, I don't think it's supposed to be a comparison of them with other dogs, or a great example of training or hunting....just a fun video of someone's hunting dog.

That's what I thought it was going to be, but what I saw was a really sweet, well behaved Beagle who gets happy when someone says "Rabbit". It's a cute video, just not what I was expecting. :)

Pretty much just showing you what it is like to live with a retired hunting dog and how every time he's leashed and put into a field, he wants to hunt!
