Mine are both on Taste of the Wild Bison and Venison Formula and are doing very well on it.
Hektor has issues with most foods we have tried and I am excited that he is doing so well on this one.

Kai and Brawt are currently eating Natures Variety Raw
Nomi (8 weeks) is currently eating kibble and Natures Variety Raw (she is being switched to a complete diet of raw).

For those that feed kibble and raw I have a question.

Why do you mix the two and not feed one or the other? Do you feel your dog gets a better balance by mixing?

Canidae, raw, and homecooked. >^_^<

And for an answer to the above question, I feel that my dogs do best with a variety, and that's why I give them a little of each.

Raw, and Timberwolf Organics or Innova Evo.

MissAshby... I personally feed some kibble meals mostly due to laziness. ;D I sometimes go weeks of all Raw, then I get lazy. My dogs do TOTALLY well with switching around.

Our lot are all mainly raw food, but occasionally we'll cook up pet mince, pasta, vegies and stuff and Sophie and Mac get biscuits with their bones as Mac burns it off and Sophie is loosing weight faster then we can get it on her. The boys rarley get biscuits but on occasion yes.

They bones they eat include
chicken necks
chicken thighs
chicken wings
chicken frames
lamb offcuts
beef soup bones

that makes up about 80% of their diet
Don't chicken bones splinter? I'm just curious because that's what I've heard. (I'm not meaning to offend anyone) :)

raw chicken bones are soft, so are not going to splinter that said, I have had a dog cough up a sliver of raw chicken bone and i nearly passed out. it took me a long time to feed raw chicken bones again now i prefer to feed chicken and turkey necks i do not do organ meat maybe very rarely chicken giz and hearts, but it sicks me out so i just dont do it. i too rotate foods and raw and our heathy cooked leftovers the more variety the better the manufactured foods i feed are canidae chicken and rice, evo, natures variety prairie: chicken/turkey, beef, venison and raw instinct as well as their raw prepared frozen foods. also merrick, innova. there are other prepared foods i want to and will try eventually. i prefer not to feed lamb or pork...i supplement with flaxxeed oil and yoghurt. fun to read what everyone feeds some i have not heard of and must go look up...orijen? thats a new one.

Wellness and Evo

Plus raw bones, but I am very careful with the bones. My BIL's SIL is a Ministry and Natural Resources Officer and she asked me once if I had ever seen a coyote or wolf with perforated bowel. She warned me to be careful with bones, it happens in the wild..............

We feed Timberwolf organics and chicken soup for the puppy lovers soul. They also get the raw nature's variety patties one meal a day.

Our kitten gets Avoderm cat/kitten food and now he's on merrick's canned (which he isn't too fond of).

We are giving our pup chicken soup for puppies. It's the only good food I can find around here (and I even have to special order it at the pet store but it's the best food they can get). For treats she gets lakse kronch salmon.

I fed all raw last year for about 6 months. I added sea kelp, egg shells for calcium, olive oil, fish oil and I gave her a b-complex and vitamin E. I balanced her muscle meat meals to her raw meaty bone meals.
She did great for the first 3-4 months. Then her hair started thinning and she started losing weight.
I seriously was feeding her near 3 lbs. of meat a day just to try and put weight on her. Yes, I fed the chicken with the skin and fat still on it and I fed her fatty ground beef.

I feed her kibble because there is something in the kibble, obviously, that I cannot provide for her or that I was missing in her diet.
