So the Oscars are tonight

I really don't care but I know some do. I really haven't sat and watched an awards show aside from the Espy's in a really long time. I have seen NONE of the nominee's movie wise...LOL.

I DO however look at the next days what they wore thing because some of the folks are just plain beautiful, male and female and others are like trainwrecks :rofl1:

So hopefully there will be some amusing moments to YouTube and maybe even some actual real emotion tonight...but I doubt it LOL.

I know there is such brouhaha around these award shows, but I've never really gotten into them. So I'll probably watch a movie instead.

I haven't even heard of most of the movies that are nominated, and I'm pretty good at keeping up with what movies are out. I'll probably watch part of the Oscars (I do like Hugh Jackman, and he was pretty funny when I saw him host the Tonys a few years ago), but I'm hoping that there will be something else good on TV.

The Tonys are my favorite awards show. I like watching the big musical numbers, and theater people seem to be a little more appreciative of the awards.

I may watch. I have seen a lot of the movies that are up. Changeling, Doubt, Slum Dog Millionaire, Bolt, Wall-e, The Dark Knight, The Final Inch. All good movies! I may just catch up on some other shows instead though, there is always a House marathon on Sunday nights!

We watch all of these award shows. We are dressing up fancy and making a nice dinner, also we print out ballots and choose which we think will win

Espy's are the ESPN awards...they have a show and a red carpet etc. It;s usually VERY humorous and it's always nice to see how well those thugs, egotists, and goons, clean up for an event...some of em are like rrrawr!
