He's in Norfolk, VA at the animal control where I take pictures..

I wanted to bring him home with me! His name is Plato, 7 months old. He was doing sits and downs despite all the craziness going on around him. Just surrendered yesterday because of lack of time. Has been around dogs, cats and kids, owners said he did well.

Oh and he smiles too.. it's adorable. He is seriously 10x more attractive than this picture makes him out to be! I wasn't able to take a "real" picture of him today because he's not out on the adoption floor yet :/

If anyone is interested, please let me know!

Aww, the little man really tugs at the heart, doesn't he? Poor guy probably doesn't know what's happened.

Ughhhh...I've been told by hubby a zillion times our house has a 1 dog limit.

But it sounds like he'd be an incredible agility prospect with the focus among chaos :( And and and Lucy is 9 years old now...*sigh*

I think you probably need to go get him.

Is he just sitting funny, or does his right front turn out that much? That would be my concern, as Gusto's turns out a bit (not quite that far) and we are dealing with the "this is what it might do to his body" stuff.

But I'm pretty sure you need him. He's excited for his agility class. Bring cookies.

OMG! He's ADORABLE!!!

I'm positive he'll find a new home. :) However, on the off chance he doesn't (and this is a kill shelter) please let me know! I can't offer a perm home for him right now, but I can offer to foster if it comes down to it.

WANT!!!!!!!!! Oh man... He's gorgeous!

What a cool dog. What a shame. His family really lost out, because I have a feeling whoever gets him is going to be very lucky.

I *think* it's the camera angle? I would want my trainer to evaluate structure before I committed to a dog.

I can offer a foster home if his time comes up. I shouldn't have a problem finding him a home--there are people up here all the time looking for border collie prospects.

I have been told I can have a second dog if I give my husband a 2 legged child. I'm not sure I am ready to commit to 18 years of child rearing in order to get a border collie.

He's just sitting funny, as far as I saw his conformation was pretty decent. But when I go next week (if he's still there), I can look at him more closely.

It is a kill shelter, unfortunately. Took a picture of a dog today and 10min. later they took him to "the room" :( They are SO full right now, and owner surrenders always go first. I have friends who work there so I told them that if it comes down to it to please let me know.

I'm hoping that if he's adopted, he goes to a family that knows the breed and not just someone who's all "OOOPRETTY!" He's seriously a lovely dog.. I see so many dogs doing this (photograph probably 50+ a month for the shelter) and I'm usually hard to "wow".. he stopped my friend and I in our tracks!

I want another dog. Despite being broke. He looks perfect.

But... broke. And small apartment. And allergic roommate. And Eve takes forever to learn to like another dog.

Oh well. I really hope he finds an awesome home, hopefully with a chazzer.

Yeah ... My OH knows better then to say that, because he knows that in an "it's me or the dog" it would be the dog

OMG, wow... how I wish. If I met the right BC, I think I'd be in love and this guy sounds like he'd be a gem. He's gorgeous too. Ugh. I hope he finds a good home. I'd love to foster a BC some day to "get a feel" before committing so if by chance, he's about to be PTS or something horrible, let me know if I can do anything. I think we're fairly close.

Wow that is one handsome dog! Im sure someone on Chaz would be very happy with him. Border collies aren't usually my cup of yea, otherwise I'd likely be interested.

He's so handsome! I hope if he's not adopted he goes to one of these lovely people who offered to foster him.

I'll definitely let my friend know that he has some offers for foster. I'm not sure how AC feels about fostering to people out of state or that aren't local though, will have to ask!
