OK... excuse this thread, but I just feel like gushing. My Hudson is SUCH A GOOD BOY! Since he got suddenly so much healthier, I decided that it was time to kick the training into high gear about a week ago.
Well, in ONE WEEK, he's gotten 100% reliable on "sit" (which he knew before), excellent on "wait", pretty good on "down" (50% of the time needs placement), he can "stay" while I walk into the next room and come back in, he understands "leave it", he shakes hands, and he's learned to stop pulling on the lead when I say "don't pull". The only thing he knew one week ago was "sit", and he sometimes still needed placement on that.
I didn't intend to teach him so many commands in one week, but he just kept exceeding my expectations!!! It's almost like he just naturally understands English! He is totally amazing me! :hail:
