He just keeps laying on his doggy bed wagging his tail at me in between chomps

Yeah he loves it. We froze the others for a longer lasting treat tomorrow. he must think we are great hunters.

I just bought some for my 15 mth Shih Tzu. Every time he visits my mom or sister inlaw, he steals their dogs bones, so I figured it's time for his own. I'm a marrow bone "virgin"... How do you feed these to your dogs? I bought them frozen from the butcher. Do I just give it to him frozen? thawed? boiled? or it doesn't matter?

Good for you for asking Nanners!!!! Never, NEVER give your dog cooked bones! Always raw, and it's best if you freeze first. That kills the few microbial thingies that might be lurking that could hurt your dog.
