I'm afraid his supercillious twaddle makes me want to put him on my "throw a porkchop down his pants and let Shiva loose" list :D
ROFL! I'm not crazy about him, either.

I caught a bit of AI the other week and I just swore up and down that those big giant Coke cups weren't holding just water.

If Simon showed up somewhere I was I think I would run in the opposite direction. Heck yes I would be afraid of him lol! I don't think I could even squeak for him let alone sing or speak lol.

I like Simon, but he does go overboard .. he tries too hard to make analogies and to sound clever.

I haven't liked Paula for a long time - she's just flakey. And Randy doesn't seem to have a clue - the "dawg" can't tell when people are on pitch or not. He uses the "pitchy" excuse if he doesn't like the song or the person.

But I'm glad Brenna is gone!

As caustic as Simon is, he knows his stuff. As a musician, I'm pretty critical and many times I will make a comment to my wife during a performance and Simon will say just about the same thing. I like the way he pretty much tells it like it is and his little quips are pretty funny at times.

I noticed Paula the other night but thats the 1st time this season she's been that way that I saw.

You gotta take Randy for who he is. He's a seasoned performer and producer and knows his stuff. Yes, he uses the pitchy thing a lot, but usually when he says it, they were!

What really bothers me about Simon is what kind of human being takes such malicious glee in squashing a person's aspirations and self-esteem with such cruelty? There are ways of telling people they just aren't cut out for something without destroying their self-confidence entirely.

Heheh . . . Sparks, I'd like to see what Puck would do if someone like Simon ever derided you in the same way as Simon does these people . . . Wouldn't be pretty, I'd bet ;)

I think she was drunk.

I think Simon is at times a bit too harsh, but other times I can't help liking him. He speaks his mind and doesn't care what other people think about him. However, if I ever got the chance to meet him, I would not be able to resist annoying him just to get a reaction. :D

Puck would stay out of it lol He knows it would be worse for Simon to deal with me than him lol Plus Simon and I would end up friends because I would dish it out to him too and he would like it lol he's twisted like that ;)

i have perfect pitch..i believe that simon and the other judges do as well, but i believe simon's ear is the most accurate. I cant believe anyone would get up there with a tone deaf ear and try to sing..i hope they get paid alot for being foolish. If they do they deserve to be told they are tone deaf..and pitchy..and mostly what i hear coming from simon is the truth. the only exception would be the personal cuts for weight.

I agree that it was mean spirited to make that comment but I think mandissa handled it wonderfully and When she called Simon out on it I was impressed with how he handled it. I kinda got a new found respect for him now that I see he CAN apologize and be a nice guy

I could see me and Simon being friends. I'm just wacky enough to handle him with ease. :) :)

I think the key to Simon is not getting upset with his remarks because thats what he wants. If you show him that it doesn't affect you in a personal way he will respect you.

I used to like Paula a lot because I thought she stuck up for the people that Simon made fun of. I like Simon and usually agree with him regarding talent though. Paula needs to get her act together.
