Skin pigment change?

I have a 17 month old male bichon/poodle. The skin on his belly has been just pink and all of the sudden there are brown spots allmost like the pattern you would see on a cow. I'm just wondering what could cause this and if it is something I should worry about? I am going to call my vet on Tuesday but I would like to know if anyone has some insight on what this might be. Thanks

pigment change is completly normal, especially in puppies and nothing you need to worry about unles theres lumps/bumps...

those patches may stay as patches or may grow and "join" to change the skin color completly.

i wish i had a new picture of my crested puppy as its very easy to see the change on him, when he arrived his skin was pink with 1 grey patch, now at 12 weeks that grey patch is black and his once just pink skin is now covered in little black splodges and freckles.
