I just took Riddick on his normal lunchtime walk and we passed a kid on a skateboard. He is almost three now and I never realized he had never seen a skateboard. He has been around bikes, fourwheelers, lawnmowers, etc. But never a skateboard. He freaked out. Didn't make a sound but hair stood up on his back and ran circles never taking his eye of the thing. I didn't try to console him or anything just tried to keep walking past. He wouldn't stop looking in the direction the kid went and wouldn't listen to me at all. I tried to tell him to sit then made him. I just tried to distract him with other commands. Eventually, after a good amount of time he settled back down but I feel like I should do something to get him over it. What would you do?
Skateboard...oh no!
