Just a few I took on a beautiful evening walk with Sierra tonight. She has NOT been co-operative for the photo shoots lately and it's been incredibly frustrating, but this is what we got.

This is Jackson's Creek - it runs right through the heart of Peterborough. Beautiful isn't it? It also runs straight through the "student ghetto" and some SUPER sketchy areas.

First picture. I'm angry that it's fuzzy because it would be one of the best I took today if it wasn't.

Take two, over the bridge and on the other bank of the creek.

Sierra looks great, if only it weren't on the ugly side of the creek!

She was seriously REFUSING to just sit and look pretty.

There is a squirrel behind me.

So I tried a different angle... and she kept turning her head away!

Finally I just said "screw it" and took her down the bank to the water and figured I'd just snap pictures and see what happens.

But she got the zoomies and I didn't want her doing that right at the water so we continued on our walk.

Silhouettes.

Stopped in part of the sketchy area the Creek runs through to try again.

I'd say I had more success this time!

"Seriously mum, do you have to keep pointing that thing at me?"

That's when she started being a diva again and I gave up ;)

For some reason, it always surprises me when I see Sierra's legs...I keep forgetting she's part Bassett.

You did get a couple of good shots out of the day!

Thanks guys, you're all so sweet :)

Sierra usually gets the zoomies after a walk, but all the squirming to keep away from the camera must have tuckered her out! She's currently laying as much against my leg as she can without being on top of me, sleeping.
