I finished the season earlier today! Have to admit I'm not really into the whole "background stories" this season. Even though I should be, and do take them in, but living for the parts in the prison and get kind of bored of the "background" parts; besides a couple that kept my interest more. Enjoyed them a lot more last season.

Anybody here watch True Detective? My friend really liked it and recommended it, I thought it would be right up the alley of some people here...

I watched the first episode of Orange is the New Black, will probably have to wait a week to see the rest... My mom is visiting and I can't imagine watching that with her.

I'm on the third season of Downton Abbey now. Love it. I hope they put the fourth on Amazon prime soon.

GOT last week? Grossest death EVER. Omg it was awful.

Also, watching Arrow and I know it's just a show but how can NO ONE know it's Oliver when he's not really doing much to hide his face. At least at the beginning he'd turn away from them or be in the shadows but now that he has a mask, it shows like 2/3rds of his face.... I know I know.... I just can't believe people don't recognize him. xD

OITNB has been...I dunno. The first season was fantastic, this one has been a little slow. I'm up to episode 9? 10? and it has picked up and is getting more interesting. I miss Alex :(.

I started watching Orange is the New Black today (first season)...and it's okay. I like it, I just don't know if it'll hold my interest to get to the second season. Kind of like my Downton Abbey phase--as long as I was watching it in succession it was good, but as soon as I stop I have a hard time picking it back up again.

I love Dexter. Favorite TV show ever. January through March I watched all 8 seasons.

Other (recent) faves are Breaking Bad, Six Feet Under, Sons of Anarchy....

But mostly we just watch baseball. Lots of baseball.

Ok so I am actually quite happy with OITNB season 2.....parts are hard to watch because I dont want them to happen, but I am enjoying it.

Personally I LOVE the back stories...those are my favorite part though they usually make me really sad because they are reality for many people :(

I finished rewatching Eureka and remembered why I loved that show. Just a fun, nice show with great characters.

Also, started The 100 and I really like it so far! Only an episode and half in but so far so good. The CW really is starting to impress me with their shows.

Ended up loving it as it finished out (again). The acting is really phenomenal. I have my favorite people but they are all great.

Yeah it's what stops me from really enjoying the show... those hard to watch parts. I don't like it when a show makes me feel awkward.

I've at episode 2 now. Hopefully I can finish it next week, or I don't know when I'll watch it with the kids home!

I enjoy that the backstories are usually nothing spectacular. They didn't play up all these crazy stories for how they got arrested - most of them were just everyday reasons for getting jailtime. I loved Poussey's backstory, that one threw me for a loop. :)

New obsession: House. On season 2 now, loving this show and can't believe I never watched it. Dr. House is a great character.

I got this way with Orange is the new Black as well. I watched the first 5 eps or so of the first season last year and then just became disinterested in finishing. I keep saying I might pick it up again though, now that season 2 is out and I'll have more to watch consecutively.

Morello's is the one that really threw me! I mean it all makes sense now but yeah...
