I really would like to know what your guy's take on this is. I kind of feel bad about it.

So I rode the wonderful bus home today because I don't have my lisence yet, none the less a car. I was sitting in front of some younger boys, two 7th graders. One of them slaps my seat, they had done that yesterday too and I found it irksome. After the second time it was done I turned around, glaring(I think), and told them in a rather grumpy/flat voice that they best not do that again or they will have a problem. It was really just an empty threat to get them to not do it again. It looked like I scarred the crap out of one boy and they stopped for a while. Just before the first stop it happens again and I let it slide because I really had no idea what I was going to do about it. It happens again and I kind of go to elbow the kid's hand and turn around. I saw the guy move one seat back and go to turn around. Well the poor kid I scared sees me turn around and his eyes bulge out. He looks right at me and says "It wasn't me! I swear it was him!" I nod ans said "I know, I saw, its okay" but I felt really bad. The poor guy must have thought I was going to hurt him, even though he weighed more than me and I couldn't hurt a fly.

I'm going to say I'm sorry I "yelled" at him tommorrow if I see him and explain that I was rather irked that day. But I feel so bad right now. :( Poor kid's probably scared for life now.

I really can't comment because I would have slapped the seat just to see what you would do....but that's just me and my sick way of pushing things too far.

I think I would have done the same thing :p.You asked them to stop and they didn't. Just don't sit near them again.

I don't plan on it. ^.^

I just feel bad for the "little" guy, I thought he was passing the blame around until I saw the other kid and the look of pure horror on his face.

They have to learn somehow and frankly, they're lucky that they didn't do that to something who wasn't just saying an empty threat.

Smack em, or grab their hand next time they do it.

Or steal their juice money! That'll show 'em.

Oh god, that brings back some annoying bus memories! Personally, I'd just be happy that I could scare the crap outa someone like that. But I guess I'm evil like that. I have no tolerance for annoying little pests. So congrats on the victory!;)

I've done a whole lot worse on public transit before. I threw up on some poor guy once. He was attempting to chat me up. I don't think he saw that one coming.

It was actually pretty funny now that I look back on it. I was leaving a Canada Day festival because I didn't feel so good. I had the tummy flu and was dizzy but I just looked really drunk and was having issues standing. The bus was packed and the motion just got to me.

Really boys. I do not understand what's attractive about a girl whos shaking, sweating, obviously brain dead and about to up chuck. Someone care to explain this to me? Makes for a good giggle now though.

Ahh memories...

Reminds me of a time when I went to school... this chick who *thought* she ruled the bus walks up to me and hits my seat, and says...

"So and so said that you said my boobs were small"

Umm... Ok... why on God's green earth would I be looking at another chick's boobs?

I asked her that, and she got all defensive. This girl is tiny, much shorter than my fairly tall 5'7". I towered over her and said "What's it to ya anyway?" She backed off and got off at her bus stop without another word. I ended up using her face to clean the bus windows a few weeks later.

Dont say you are sorry. Why should you be? They know you will stand up for yourself, just leave it at that. Punks like that need to know that their actions have consequences. Who knows how many people they torment daily, maybe next time they will think twice.

I had sort of the same thing happening in a movie theater, only I was the punk kid, throwing M&Ms. One of us managed to hit the one person who wasnt going to be a victim. Fortunately the guy was a big fellow and didnt think anyone in the theater would blame us for not standing up. Truth be told, if it was a woman, it would have been worse. To this day, I have no desire to throw M&Ms at people in a theater.

Paige, best story ever.

It was the wrong kid I got anoyed with. Little monster kept doing it. Scarried about 3 more kids trying to tell him to knock it off after almost swearing(I have a thing against swearing myself). Almost ripped a chuck of hair out of his head but stopped myself. I kind of really need to ride the bus for about a month more before I get my car.

Right now I'm gonna do the waiting game and wait for him to get cocky then break his wrist.

Don't break his wrist.. be a bit smarter about it. Nab a finger, make eye contact, and slowly bend it backwards into a rather painful position while calmly reminding him you told him not to hit your seat. ;)

Always works for me. Even with horny football players twice my size.

Edit: Don't really hurt him.... just give him enough pain that he doesn't have anything else to think about and his attention is on you.
