The mother in law that is..

I went to pick up some hay today from my mate Claude, he's a farmer and always makes a bit more hay than he needs to sell on, plus he stocks it for me, he's really a nice guy..

Anyway, the mother in law came with me, and we got to chatting and she asked how much I paid for the hay.. I said.. "He charges me €25 a round bale, which weighs in at approx 350 kilos" She said..

"That's REALLY cheap, I think i'll get one"

WHY on earth would someone who has NO livestock or horses, and only actually owns 4 chickens want 350 kilos of hay just because it's cheap?? I usually give her a sack of hay that the horses haven't eaten for her chickens and that lasts her months..

It's only a good deal if you actually NEED it..

And sadly no.. It's not my christmas gift, my christmas gift is a million times less useful.. She has gotten me a decorative copper saucepan to hang on a wall.. I can't even cook in the bloomin thing, and I HATE ornaments, especially those I have to dust, she's trying to turn my house into some sort of tacky themed bar i'm sure of it..

Decorative copper saucepan = As useful as tits on fish!

mmm... I got a friend like her, she would buy everything she thinks cheap and is on "sale'... then she ended up losing all her money for buying things that aren't really useful...
