Sexual Preference?

So since the whole religious threads thing I have been thinking about homosexuality a lot. Someone brought it up and I have been wondering what peoples sexual preferenes were.

Nowadays it really doesn't matter what your sexual preferences are and I think that it doesn't matter who you love....it is all the same.

I have friends that are gay and bisexuals and I think they are some of the greatest people.

I am sorry if this subject is too taboo, but I figured I would ask if anyone feels like discussing it.

I'm a girl and prefer to be with guys. My brother in law is homosexual and that works out good for him and I'm happy for him. I think the same is you it doesn't matter who you love guy or girl but I just can't love another girl.

I'm straight, and always have been.

To me, love is love. It doesn't matter if you're gay, straight, or bisexual. Like you, I've had some great friends who are gay and bi... and I think it's really sad when people are bashed because of their sexual preference.

I find it very frustrating and sad that gay couples cannot legally get married in most states.

I prefer guys. But if you dont, whatever floats your boat.

Gay guys make the best of friends. A few of my close guy friends are gay.

Straight here too but also open and accepting to the sexualities of others. What I get annoyed by are the ones who change their sexualities (pretend to be bi or gay) simply for the attention. My ex-friend used to do that and it drove me nuts!!! Everyone knew he wasnt bi but he would still brag and flaunt that he has sex with other guys....whatever

Accepting of whatever you choose. I don't care, honestly.

I guess I like guys- well, I know for sure I don't like girls. However, I sometimes wonder if I'm asexual. I honestly have NO sex drive. Almost 21 and no sex so far. I'd be fine if I never had sex, I'd also be open to it if I found someone eventually that I was attracted to.

I'm weird.

And OC, I know what you're talking about! I had a lot of friends who were 'gay' then weren't then were then weren't, and I'm over here like, 'Make up your mind!'

Straight as well. Lived with a gay man more promiscuous than anyone woman I'd ever known- that was interesting, lol, but I'm all for whatever makes you happy. :)

Straight :)

Someone I work for has a daughter, 7years old, who looks exactly like a boy and said at the age of 7 that she wans to be a boy, feels she got the wrong body. I was amazed at how well her mom is handling it and is so accepting of her! Made me happy to see :) Now if only everyone else was so accepting.

Closer to “bi†than most women, yet only had sexual experiences with men so far in my life. Most of the best friends I have had in life have been gay men. I live very close to an incredible LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) community and I support that community not only through dining and shopping there, but also by going to local gay theater and supporting other gay and lesbian arts. DH and I spend time in that community every weekend and hope someday to own a home there if the housing prices ever come down enough.

Myself, I am straight, as far as I know. I have a husband and I am very attracted to him. But with having lesbian and gay friends I find myself questioning it sometimes.

Well, I tend to think it's a continuum. I don't think most people are strictly straight or gay but somewhere in between. I just think most people (like me) would not be satisfied with a same sex (or in other cases opposite sex) partner. I can look at women and find them attractive for sure, some more than other women. Would I ever want to be with them? No. I wouldn't ever be happy having a relationship with a woman.

That said, I still wonder if I'm asexual sometimes. Though I read about it and it's supposedly an aversion to all things sexual and I'm certainly not that. Maybe I'm just picky. :lol-sign:

I totally believe in the continuum .. but I think there are “different scales†. Like there is one simply for sexual attractedness , another for “relationshipsâ€.. etc. While I can totally be attracted to a woman, I know that I could not ever be in a relationship with one. I much prefer men. Just like I don’t care for working with too many women. I am kinda particular that way… I have had far more male friends over my lifetime than women.

Bi. I could not be in a relationship with a woman, but I have certainly gone there, and it was great!
