or however they spell it for the product.
Anyone ever use one?

A friend gave me one last year to use on the pups. I never tried it on Luke because I thought he'd break it. But I tried it today with him.
I admit that I didn't walk the dogs this winter because it was AWFUL cold here and I have the fenced in yard, and they were content running in the yard.
So, today, it's GORGEOUS here, so I decided to try walking Luke.
He can be a BEAST on lead when he sees a squirrel. So, I thought I'd give the harness a-go.

I'm not sure how well it worked, but my dog walked right next to my side the entire walk. The only time he attempted to pull AT ALL was when we walked by a tree that was right next to the sidewalk and a squirrel ran up it. But those were...only half pulls.

Maybe just having the harness on makes him not want to pull? It's the first time I ever used it on him, and typically my dogs always pull the worst in the beginning of the walk. But he was angelic the entire walk.
The harness is barely anything. The nylon isn't wide, and it's SUPER simple to put and use.

Oh well! It was a beautiful day and we had a FABULOUS walk, and Ophie will be getting her walk when Ben comes home. :D

I use a no-pull harness with Psyche sometimes, and I honestly do find that they help - especially the front latching ones, like the sense-ible harness is, I'm quite certain. And I used to use one with Bella, and it worked wonders for when she lunged forward (like I assume Luke does at those evil furry little critters!) because having the snap at the front just kind of took all of her momentum and swung her back around to facing me. Those harnesses saved my and Bella's butts a few times when idiots got too close. But all of Bella that would ever touch the other dog in that case was her tail, because she'd gotten swung around to be looking at me.

I have had clients clip the leash to the front ring of a harness to create the same effect. They can work wonderfully.

I bought one to use for my dane in agility class and also on our Saturday morning group walks when she is on a long line. I was nervous because she is reactive and I normally have her on a Halti (not practical for agility or our group walks - rubs on her face) but the Sense-ible harness actually works really well. I like it way more than I thought I did. I thought the Easy Walk harness was the best, but I like the Sense-ible harness way better. I still use the Halti for our regular walks and outings and also our obedience class, but the harness is an excellent go-to for other situations.

I was also nervous about the thin nylon and flimsy-looking buckle (especially on my 140lb dog) so I took the little tether clip off her Halti and looped it through the front ring on the harness and clipped it to her collar. That way if the harness ever pops open or breaks, I still have her attached.

hmm...I'm trying to think of how I can get a photo of Ophie set up to go on a walk in her gear.
I use a police lead while walking the dogs.
I attach the snap from her lead to her harness, then I have a back up attachment with one snap connected to the swivel ring of her leash, and the other snap connected to a collar.

With Finn, it's continuous training to keep him on a loose leash on a collar. He automatically keeps a loose leash on a harness. It's pretty dog-dependant I think, but with Finn the chest pressure must make a difference?

He's comfortable walking with both types, and I make sure to collar-walk him still to continue a more "natural" loose leash walk, but the not pulling on the harness is not just Luke!

Dogs are weird. :)
