Summer is due for her senior exam and I'm a nervous wreck. And, she is due for a teeth cleaning. Well way overdue in that matter.
My paranoia comes from Cleopatra having her senior exam, blood panel, EKG, teeth cleaning which was really minor, no pulls or major build-up but did have benign gingival hyperplasia surgery also, a complete clean bill of health and then died 3 months later.
Now, here's summer due for all of this and probably a much more major teeth cleaning, over 3 years older then Cleo, and depressed. I'm petrified to say the least. True, she is a mongrel, but this is not helping my nerves any.
I've never been nervous about a vet visit. He came 2 days after Cleo's death for a once over physical check when I noticed Summer leaking urine and he says everything sounds great and auscultates great, no lumps, bumps or funny sounds. I just need to get this done and over with and live past the 3 month mark to realize how silly I'm being.
