How do you feel about it?

I've made a petition to present to Tom (the owner of myspace) so that hopefully something will be done with millers and byb's using myspace to sell animals.

There are even groups for specific breeds that allow myspace users to post ads, and nothing is monitored.

Heck I've even seen a group designed for BYB's and their motto is "Backyard Breeders and proud of it, if you don't like it you can......"

Yup.

If anyone is interested in signing the petition, feel free to do so here:

I'm thinking about signing it but...
I don't really see what exactly is so wrong with selling animals on Myspace =/ It's the same as having a site anywhere else and and as long as you are meeting a responsible person somewhere and everything...
But then the disadvantages...
going to irresponsible owners
getting raped meeting someone..
I'm not sure.
Everyone has their own opinions =/

I signed, do you mind if I repost? I'm on a few myspace groups, and the general consenous in them is that it's deplorable that people try to sell their dogs on myspace. They are pretty adament about it to.

Thanks for passing this around more Shadow, and thanks everyone for signing it. I still haven't heard back from Myspace regarding my initial complaint about the broker/miller I found advertising on their site.

This petition will have to be targeted to another person, because Tom no longer owns Myspace. The man who owns Fox (his name escapes my mind) owns Myspace now, and uses it purely to make money. There is 'customer support' that you can direct the petition to, but as far as Tom goes, his profile and communication is only there for comfort now. He has no ties with Myspace anymore.
