Ive never seen a dead dog on the roads around here. When I was in mexico, like real non tourist area mexico. I seen many, many on the side of the road. It was heartbreaking. I just kept trying to tell myself this is how life is out here. But it didnt help.
It breaks my heart to see wild animals dead. I live surrounded by many woods. and you see many dead animals from squrrials, raccoons, porcupines, deer, fox ect out on the road often. Makes me sad.
Ive seen a few cats. One i stopped to see if it had a collar on, But it was so decomposed, I couldnt tell. I just wanted to see, maybe if it had a phone number n it, I could call its family.
I tried to grab a maybe 8 week old kitten off the major road here once, it was wearing a beautiful sparkly pink collar with a bunch of tags. Obviously a loved little thing, Who I tried so hard to catch, but it was freaked and ran. it was pouing rain too. never caught her, I hope she made it home safe.
