Sarah, my adorable Finnish Spitz is one of those unfortunate dogs to have demodex.

We've created a blog so you can follow along as we work to strengthen her immune system. She'll never be cured. If we can subdue her symptoms and get her body to fight off the little critters, we'll be successful.

Follow along at The Itchy Dog Blog.

I know of many dogs that have been successfully treated for demodex. One being a Bulldog with a comprised immune system, another a collie type mix and many more. They fed the dogs a good diet with as many raw meals as possible, and they also shampooed the dogs in a vinegar solution...I'd have to find out what that is.

Anther fantastic herb that I personally have seen fantastic results with is Astragalus. It's only about $5.00 Canadian and you can purchase in any health store.

We have seen many cases of demodex at the Vet clinic I worked at and with a few of my friends who have rescued dogs with this problem. They are looking great now and you would never know they had this problem.

Also, make sure you are adding plenty of omega 3 fatty acids to your dogs diet. Such as Sardines, Flax oil, crushed flax seeds, hemp oil, fish body oil supplements etc.

Good luck...

I also wanted to mention that, I'm not sure how much you are paying for the StemEnhance...but, my friends and co workers were able to help their dogs without draining their pocket book.

I will ahve to do more research on StemEnhance, I don't know much about it...but, I will now that I have a name to research....:D
