Sako goes swimming!

Took Sako swimming at my parents today, his second time ever in the pool. He still hasn't quite grasped the concept of "swimming".. he'd rather try to eat his splashes, or just let his whole back end sink LOL. But, he's getting the hang of it and he loves it! The weather was kind of iffy today, so these didn't turn out as nice as I had hoped, but here's what I got..

LOL, no, not really! It's not that they CAN'T swim, it's that they get all ADD and forget! My parents Lab was running around the pool and Sako saw him and just.. stopped swimming. Sunk right down, of course, BF was there to get him, but we were like "Hello! Swim!" Oy vey. I should probably invest in some life jackets.

God, if I knew someone with a pool I think I would just be living there with the dogs. Totally jealous!

LOVE the one of him on the step, it's just so cute! As is the eating of the splashes. I have a friends dog that does that, she loves to fetch but is just as content to swim in circles chasing her splashes.
