Oh, Eric. I'm so sorry. It's heartbreaking to lose our pups. Maybe you'll feel like posting some stories about Zandy in the Rainbow Bridge forum and tell us all about her.

Hey Eric, if you feel like talking, we'd all be happy to hear about Zandy. I bet you had some great times together..and Zandy was loved to the max. That's all any of us can do. (((ERIC))) hugs.

I had the same thoughts when my rabbit died last month. I know he was dead but it was so sudden I didn't want to believe it.

I'm sure your dad knew best. Try not to worry about it.

Remember all the good times you had with your pup. Writing about it may help.

sorry to hear

Sorry to hear about Zandy.know how you feel.We had put our 1st dog Ruffles,a miniature poodle to sleep 2 years ago ,dur to old age.Dad knew time was coming, built a coffin for him,put carpet in put him in and covered him as if he was napping.he was the one who had to take him and hardest thing he ever had to do.Brought him home, buried him close by,and i talk to him every day and he's doing fine.We weren't going to get another one for awhile, but dad missed ruffles so much ,that 4 months later we bought a Bichon Frise ,name of Fritz, greatest pal you can have. This is the breed to get if you ever are thinking of getting another dog.

So sorry Eric. I think all one can do when this happens is to know that your pup is no longer in pain. I am happy you had your dad with you to help. Many hugs.
